Faster Than Film
Film Festival Identity
Faster than light travel is an established science fiction trope that is an iconic feature of major film universes, shooting off into the unknown. The hero has saved the day and now it’s time to leave, or they have got themselves into a spot of trouble.

You spool up the jump drive a prepare to jump, slowly expanding, then suddenly stretching into space. The identity is shaped around the motion of light speed at the moment before it disappears, stretching out to the middle, ready to jump.

‘Faster than film’, a play on from ‘Faster than light’, jumps people into the excitement of films that have the ability to go anywhere. Good reason therefore to hold this film festival at the Royal Museums Greenwich, particularly the planetarium. Featuring a domed roof, experience being under the stars as you immerse yourself in such films as Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Star Wars: A new hope.
